Good Morning Church Family,
There are a lot of wonderful things going on in the Storehouse.
We had our wonderful Thai fusion evening that raised a fantastic £1500 for the work we do for our Storehosue Projects. It was a wonderful evening with fabulous food prepared by Mika and everyone really enjoyed themselves. This is something that was written about the evening :-
“Wow, what an evening! Massive shout out to all of you lovely peole that helped but especially to Dan, Mike and Alex who survived the heat of the kitchen, Pete who went through those dirty dishes with lightening speed, Jill an amazing speech and you made everyone cry. Amazing service and professionalism from everyone else. You’re a great team and so happy we managed to raise a good chunk of money”.
One of our Nexus clients, who recently became a member of the church has successfully been moved from living in a shop doorway to a Christian rehab centre. He has had a great first two weeks and has already gained a stone in weight! He is surrounded by prayer and praise and has been able to attend a number of church services. He is already well loved and fully involved. Praise God for this chance for him to start again.
The Storehouse Cafe is going really well and the quality of the baking is phenomenal. Please come along on a Friday and check us out, we are open 9.30 to 2.30pm every Friday in the Chapel Hall.
Our award winning sourdough bread baker is also providing bread to Hartley Farm shop now; this is just amazing, how brilliant is that!
