Meet the Team Storehouse is led by our Storehouse Pastor, Sarah Sedgwick, alongside an amazing team of more than 40 volunteers who serve our community with care, compassion, and dedication. Our volunteers support every part of Storehouse, both front and back of house — from fundraising and washing up, to rotating stock and baking award-winning sourdough bread. They help lead wellbeing sessions, serve breakfasts and lunches, welcome guests, and provide practical support to those who visit us each week and that’s only a small part of all they do. Together, they help make Storehouse a place of food, community, and hope.

Our work is broadly split into three core areas, essentials, community and cafe.

Essentials Supporting individuals and families with practical help through our Foodbank, Pantry, and Re:Fresh projects — providing food, everyday essentials, and ongoing support when it’s needed most.

Community Creating opportunities for connection, wellbeing, and belonging through Community Lunch, Nexus, and a range of community activities designed to promote wellbeing, encourage friendships, and reduce isolation.

Café A welcoming space to meet, connect, relax, and enjoy community together. Our café is also home to our social enterprise bakery, where we make fresh sourdough bread used in the café and available to purchase within the community.
