Nexus – Could This Be You?

Every Tuesday morning, Nexus provides breakfast, friendship, a listening ear and a warm welcome to people who are homeless or vulnerably housed. But it’s about so much more than breakfast — it’s an opportunity to build genuine relationships, offer hope and share the good news of Jesus with people who may be longing for both practical and spiritual support.

On average, we see around 24 people each Tuesday, and over the course of a month, this could mean having the opportunity to interact with up to 50 different people. Every one of those encounters is an opportunity to show something of the love of Jesus and to speak hope into people’s lives.

We’re looking for a Christian team leader to come on board and help lead Nexus each Tuesday morning, from around 9:30am until 12:30pm.

This isn’t simply about filling a volunteer role. We’re looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves people and has a passion to share the hope of the Gospel with those who may be struggling, lonely or searching for something more.

We see Nexus as a genuine evangelistic opportunity, with the potential for relationships to develop into opportunities for discipleship and deeper Christian community as trust grows.

So, if you have a heart for people on the margins and a desire to see lives changed by Jesus, this could be a really exciting opportunity to step into ministry and make a lasting difference.
