Growbaby at waterways vineyard
Supporting babies, young children and their families
Growbaby WaterWays is a welcoming, free group for families with children aged 0–5 years. We are open to all families, with a particular heart for supporting families who may be experiencing financial or other difficulties.
When and where
From September 2026, Growbaby meets on:
Thursdays, 10am–12 noon
Emmanuel’s Yard
During term time
There is no charge to attend, and all families with babies and young children are very welcome.
What to expect
Growbaby is primarily a place for families to find support, encouragement and connection. It offers a safe, welcoming space where parents and carers can relax, have a chat, enjoy refreshments and connect with friendly volunteers and other families.
There are simple toys and activities available to help keep children occupied while parents and carers have time to talk. We also provide refreshments including tea, coffee, toast, fruit and snacks.
Alongside the group, we support families who are in need by providing essential baby and children’s items. Families are welcome to look through our selection of clothing, nappies and other baby and children’s essentials, and take what they need, completely free of charge.
A new season for Growbaby
Growbaby WaterWays was established in February 2025 and is now entering a period of change and planning. MJ Joy is currently leading Growbaby, and we are reviewing and developing the project for the next season.
This webpage is currently a summary of our current arrangements. We will be adding more information as the project develops, including details about the team, visiting professionals, donations and ways to get involved.
