Meet the Team

Storehouse is led by our Storehouse Pastor, Sarah Sedgwick, alongside an amazing team of more than 40 volunteers who give their time, energy and heart to our community.

Our volunteers are involved in all sorts of things, both front and back of house — from fundraising, washing up and keeping everything running, to baking our award-winning sourdough bread. They help lead wellbeing sessions, serve breakfasts and lunches, welcome guests and offer practical support to the people who come through our doors each week.

And that’s only a small part of what they do.

Together, our team helps make Storehouse a place where people can find food, friendship, support and hope.

What you’ll find at Storehouse

There’s a lot happening at Storehouse, and our projects are all about making a practical difference while creating a place where people feel welcome, connected and supported.

Food & practical support
Our Foodbank, Pantry and Re:Fresh projects provide food, everyday essentials and ongoing support for individuals and families when they need it most.

Community & connection
From Community Lunch to Nexus and our wider programme of activities, there are plenty of opportunities to meet people, try something new, improve your wellbeing or simply spend time with others.

Our Café & Bakery
Our café is a welcoming place to meet, relax and enjoy good food together. It’s also home to our social enterprise bakery, where our team makes fresh sourdough bread for the café and for the wider community to buy.

There’s a place for everyone at Storehouse. Whether you enjoy working with people, helping behind the scenes, cooking, organising, fundraising, or simply being part of a team that supports the community, we would love to hear from you.
