Guest Speaker: Chris Hunter

Chris is Rector of the Canalside Benefice, overseeing four churches and three church schools. He is currently pursuing a PhD focused on biblical studies and the early church.

Before coming to this area, Chris served as curate in the Parish of Wroughton and Wichelstowe in the Diocese of Bristol. Originally from Bristol, he worked as a primary school teacher for eight years prior to ordination.

Chris’s wife, Sally, works for Citizens’ Advice in Bath. They have two children, both attending Staverton Primary School.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys running (though admits he’s not very good at it!), reading, and playing video games.
