A recent report reveals that 17 per cent of Brits enjoy running outdoors at least once a month, whether on the road, trail, track or cross country. Also, 6 per cent of the UK population are keen to start running in 2026. It also notes that men are more likely to run (23 per cent) than women (15 per cent), and that Gen Z (aged 18-28) and millennials are the most active runners, with 27 per cent and 30 per cent, respectively. Tim and I are going to run (sorry about the pun) a new life group fortnightly, where you can just turn up and run with us. It will be at a chatty pace for a few miles - we want to grow our faith while fuelling our fitness…healthy body and a healthy spirit.
The first session will be at 7:30 pm from Emmanuel’s Yard on 21st May and we will finish by 9 pm.
If you are not currently in a life group, we’d love you to join us.
Email Jez if you have any questions at jez.bennett@wwv.church
