Storehouse Update

I just want to say a huge thank you for the amazing response to my appointment as Storehouse Pastor. I’ve honestly been blown away. The support, encouragement and kindness have meant more than I can say.

I’m taking a little time to settle in and really pray about how we can make the biggest and best impact through all our Storehouse ministries. We have such a fantastic team — it’s a real privilege to serve alongside such a committed and big-hearted group of people.

One thing I’d love to do more regularly is share the impact of our foodbank. Attached are two graphics showing our figures so far this year. They tell an incredible story of generosity and need.  A huge amount of food has gone out to support individuals and families in our community, but the figures also show a gap between what’s coming in and what’s going out.

The need isn’t slowing down. So, if you’re able, please remember Storehouse when you’re doing your weekly shop. Even one or two extra items in your trolley really does make a difference — especially things that can serve as a main meal (tinned stews, tinned pies, tinned curry and similar items)

And if you’re part of a club, group, workplace team or community organisation, could you ask if they might consider supporting Storehouse with a collection or ongoing donations? If they’re open to it, pass their details on to me and I’ll happily sort the rest.

Thank you again for your prayers, generosity and encouragement. Together, we really are making a huge difference in our community.

Sarah
