A group of people from churches in the Trowbridge area are keen to give prayer support to our local schools and are initially planning three occasions in the autumn to gather people together to pray.
On this upcoming Sunday, 19th October, we will be focused on praying for Special Educational Needs (SEN), both at a wider national/policy/government level, and at a local level, within the context of our school communities.
Last month we had the privilege of giving thanks and praise for schools, teachers and staff. We prayed specifically for Headteachers, as well as broader social issues that impact on schools and school life.

Who's it for? Teachers, School Leaders, School Support Staff, Governors, Trustees, Parents, Grandparents i.e. anyone who wants to see children and those who support them in schools thrive!!
Dates: a trial initially of three monthly 'prayer hours' in Terms 1 & 2 on the third Sunday evening in each month; 21st September, 19th October & 16th November
Time: an hour of prayer from 7pm to 8pm
Venue: Emmanuel's Yard, Church Street, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BA14 8RZ. Parking is available within easy walking distance at LoveMead car park
Format: It is likely that 2-3 topics for prayer will be highlighted each time, giving the opportunity to prayer with a small group of others gathered around tables in the main worship area of the church.
