Encouraged by what is happening in Frome

There’s much to be encouraged by our Frome site at the moment.

At the beginning of this term, Marco and Felicity started a Frome life group, and the turnout has been really encouraging. The focus is on building a community that walks together, not just meets on Sundays. As we seek to do church across the region, this is a key part of what we’re about. We don’t just want to create attractional events; we want to shape communities of disciples.

We’ve also had our first baptism—and it was spontaneous! Rather than share all the details here, I’d encourage you to ask some of the folks who attend Frome. It’s their story to tell.

As we gather, we’re experiencing the presence of God in our worship, and it’s a joy to see people of all ages coming together. Last Sunday, 35 people gathered, with a whole load of others unable to make it that week.

Here’s a little clip of Felicity sharing her reflections on our first Sunday back in September.

Please pray for Marco, Felicity and the team in Frome as they seek to build a community of disciples gathered around Jesus, empowered by the Spirit and living with the purpose of the Father.
