We're delighted to share some wonderful news from our Storehouse team.
The Mayor of Trowbridge, Councillor Stewart Palmen, has chosen Storehouse as one of his official charities for the 2026-2027 mayoral year, alongside Group Five. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the work Storehouse does across our community and to help generate much-needed support over the coming year.
Storehouse has been serving people across Trowbridge since 2006. Through emergency food parcels, community meals, and practical support for people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, the team demonstrates God's love in tangible ways every week.
Each month, Storehouse supports around 120 adults and 70 children, while the weekly Community Lunch welcomes approximately 30 guests to enjoy a free, home-cooked meal and a place of friendship and belonging.
Throughout the mayoral year, a range of fundraising events and activities will take place to support both Storehouse and Group Five. Every pound raised will help Storehouse continue to serve local individuals and families with compassion, dignity and hope.
We're incredibly thankful for this recognition and for everyone who volunteers, gives, prays and supports Storehouse throughout the year. Together, we can continue making a real difference in the lives of people across our town.
